Note: Some of the games have been played before this article was published. However all predictions were submitted before the games, so they remain included

Gone were the old efforts to write predictions. But wait, here they are!

Week 5 is already upon us, and as fate would have it, no less than 6 top division teams have raced to the land of folds (Team Empire, jÄgarna, Carpe Diem, Nobody’s fault but mine, Team Neutronics!, and lastly Paroxysm).

In terms of division 1, this season is looking as open as ever. The lack of practice within the Dignitas supremacy is starting to show, and ready is a pack of hungry teams eager to tip the (former 4) kings off their throne. Has the day finally come for Vale, and their 1000 hours of practice? Will idk swerve up an indie curveball? Will the fins row back the trophies to their homeland of jeans-and-black-t-shirts? Will Dunc break from his tf2-embargo, and sail his boys to victory? Can the team formerly known as Blight steal some dignity from the German resort?

The last half of season 7 starts now, and everything is shaping up for one of the most exciting season endings yet!

Division 1

Power Gaming 0 < 6 TCM-Gaming
2 of the challengers to take the season win. PwR showed last week that they don’t have much practice on Obscure – not a great premises before playing against the map’s creator.

FakkelBrigade vs Should Asians Really Survive? (teddybears)
These 2 have established quite a history after the default win farce in ESH last month. So far, teddybears have a lot to prove for themselves with the bitter loss in ESL last week, partially on Obscure. In terms of individual skills, teddybears should have the upper hand, however FB keeps impressing with their teamwork. It should be interesting to see if FB deploys their new demoman Morf, or sticks with the recipe for old success – Looper.

I Don’t Know? vs Team Dignitas
Idk shocked the community with a win in ESH, valiantly slaying both TCM and Dignitas for the championship. Dignitas, on the other hand, has a challenge ahead. They were forced to golden cap against Div3’s IsF last time they played Gravel Pit, and its an established fact now that Obscure is yet to exist in most their map folders. This game will be one of the many crucial games to come, with the season finale coming up in the horizon.

bE (blight) vs The Last Resort
Can the acquisition of Hekka and Cam mark the end of the Blight losing streak? Probably not.

Division 2a

HolyShit! vs SpecialAttack
HolyShit impressed the community by raping division 1’s Frogs last month on Granlands. This week sees them battling one of d2a’s favourites for second place, on less common maps. Emphasis on team work and ability to use sniper, should lead SpA to a safe victory.

7 brothers who aren’t brothers 4 > 1 chaotic community | black
This game was played before predictions were done. C2 impressed, by converting a draw on Gravel Pit against the heavyweight division favourites. Never underestimate a Russian!

Northwave
vs PENTIA
With Pentia’s recent acquisition of Israeli sensation Techtron, one thing will be certain: Screenshots will be taken!

Division 2b

Blame 1 < 4 notag
Blame coming off a tough start. Can they perform a C2, and steal valuable points from the German superstars? (Nope) (Edit: Yup!)

RAGE.MULTIGAMING vs Mister
Even without GL, Mister has shown little sign of weakness. Great teamwork and individual skill should keep the black ties in the clear.

infernal Gamers.CyberSnipa 4 > 1 Crack Clan
Crack Clan showing a big fat finger to all expectations by staying alive and kicking, with relatively impressive results to boot. Everybody’s seen iG’s (former POD) pcw results through the screenshots of a certain Hebrew. Can they put the money where their mouth is?
