After much (forced) suspense, Complexity, the ever popular MGO from the other side of the shore, has unveiled a refreshed Team Fortress 2 line-up. Although
carnage already said he was filling in the shoes of Complexity’s Demoman
Solid Snake following his departure, there was much speculation over who was going to take over the Scout spot. Well the wait is finally over and some surprises are in store for us all.
Today The Syndicate is pleased to announce some changes in our famous Team Fortress 2 lineup. The squad, lead by Daniel “Carnage” Sturdivant, has enjoyed an impressive run over the past year including championships in ESEA, CEVO and Alienware Arena. However, as time moves forward life circumstances and team dynamics change. Thus, today we sadly announce that we are parting ways with the following three players. We’d like to thank them for an incredible run which was highlighted by their hard work, dedication and loyalty.
Alongside Manny “Solid Snake” Sy, both Complexity’s roaming Soldier Michael “Jaeger” Marcin and Medic Brad “PYYOUR” Ross are calling it quits due to real life commitments. Replacing them are Nick “TheFragile” Leon as Medic, Tyler “TLR” Morgan for Soldier and Justin “Just1n” White as Scout. All three competed in the recent ESEA LAN finals, playing for
blight.FANOM
Update: In the comment section, former Complexity medic
Pure fills in some gaps:
I guess we should get some semblance of normality here. SolidSnake is done with coL.TF2 to not have to be around all the time and play demoman. He aliases as Old Snake now. Jaeger is done with coL.TF2 to pursue SC2 semi-competitively. I am done with coL.TF2 for a couple specifics reasons and will not be playing for anyone until a LAN. TheFragile, Justin, and TLR are all great players and will round out an already great roster.
Complexity’s refreshed lineup for 2010 –
Daniel “carnage” Sturdivant (Demoman)
Nick “The Fragile” Leon (Medic)
Tyler “TLR” Morgan (Soldier)
Kyle “Relic” Mims (Soldier)
Carl “enigma” Yangsheng (Scout)
Justin “Just1n” White (Scout)
Interestingly, looking at their ESEA page, Complexity still has
Seagull and
Lopert in their roster.
Big thanks to abhorrence for his contribution

TweetAlways a massive shame to see such big names leaving. Too bad guys, good luck with real life. :(
- # - nice! +2Looks like a beasty lineup. This could very well be the start to an NA scene with more acknowledgement to the demoman.
be interesting to see how the relic/tlr combo works
- # - nice! +0real life is a beast
- # - nice! +0+1 to what torden said
- # - nice! +1Seagull, animeman and Lopert are their backup players.
- # - nice! +0Who says PYYOUR is quiting? Has yet to be confirmed?
- # - nice! +0CANRAGE JOHNSTON
- # - nice! +0“To answer the questions above, Jager is moving on to SC2, Solid Snake is not playing any game atm as far as I know, and Pure will be playing with a new team.”
This is what it says in the comments on the complexity website, so it seems Pure isnt quiting at all and Jaeger is just moving to Starcraft

Good luck guys.
- # - nice! +0The lineup seems great, the only questions to be answered are whether carnage will still be a monster (I guess so) and enigma will gt on top of his game again (I hope so).
Too bad to see Jaeger quit coL for SC2, can’t wait to see pure again. ‘s kinda sad that both of them are taking a break and/or leaving the comp scene once I’ve got my toes in. :/
- # - nice! +0all they need now is to add platinum then this team has all the decent sols worth using in NA together in the same squad!
- # - nice! +0As big as carnage’s ego is and as many heals he’s going to want I doubt they will pocket the demo to the extent that europeans do.
What’s most impressive about this team isn’t really that carnage is moving to demo it’s the ridiculous soldier combo (NA’s version of punpu and hocz).
- # - nice! +3it’s nice
- # - nice! +6With this new lineup I hope the match TCM/coL will be played anytime soon ~
- # - nice! +0without pure col will not be as successfull tbh
- # - nice! +5“Jaeger is done with coL.TF2 to pursue SC2 semi-competitively”
Ahahah what a total idiot.
- # - nice! +4Great new line-up. I want to see Carnage as demoman. TLR and Relic : who is pocket? Just1n and enigma Enigma/just1n what a combo! I’m just sad because Pure leaves the team ..
- # - nice! +1i like unicorn
- # - nice! +1my guess is relic’s gonna roam since he’s like the definition of a team player
I definitely won’t question carnage’s DM but I’m just not sure he’s gonna play the role as well as solid
- # - nice! +0pipeshot 8)
- # - nice! +1not as good as before imo for atleast a couple of months, i mean the other previous six have played with each other for a very, very long time
- # - nice! +0and -1 to torden, solid snake was as individual as you get in NA ( while being useful )
How does that contradict his point exactly?
- # - nice! +0It seems as though pyyour wasn’t cut, he left because of some clan drama
- # - nice! +0“SolidSnake is done with coL.TF2 to not have to be around all the time and play demoman.
! !He aliases as Old Snake now !!”
WOW
seriously?
- # - nice! +0by individual i mean focusing on him more than other NA teams, kaidus
- # - nice! +0no matter how big carnages ego is it wont make him be the focus over this awsum solly pair
good luck to the new coL :)
