K1ck, having finished fifth in the Premiership table, had to beat redCode a few weeks ago to get this far whilst TCM’s third position guaranteed them a bye through to the second round. Early team news indicates the TCM camp will be down a man tonight as 
antty is still on holiday – VanillaTF2′s own 
Torden will be his replacement. No news regarding any changes in k1ck’s lineup but if anything unfolds we’ll be sure to post it as soon as we can.
The maps to be played are the usual suspects: Badlands and Granary followed by a Gullywash as the decider map. Tune into VanillaTV who will be covering the action as it unfolds with casters flushy and Greg.

- # - nice! +1Pretty poor show by TCM, highlighted by a pretty good performance by k1ck. TCMs falling out on badlands started well but then got completely dire towards the end. It would have been nice to hear if the TCM soldiers were being told to hold certain positions because by christ they got Torden killed an awful lot.
- # - nice! +3That’s the difference between Torden & medics like Antyy, Taimou, Mirelin etc. Torden has the gamesense, but his dodging skills are sub-par. Not saying the TCM soldiers aren’t to blame (I don’t know, haven’t watched the game), but if your medic is better at staying alive it kinda helps :P.
- # - nice! +2Maybe, but I don’t think that was the reason for Torden dying so much. He was forever being led into areas with stickies that should’ve been spotted and held in positions where he was stupidly out numbered.
I wouldn’t say Torden had the best game I’ve ever seen him have. Dying on balcony on blands (hiding behind the wall near drop down) wasn’t his greatest moment by any means, but even given superhuman dodging skills I doubt he’d have died that much less.
- # - nice! +2Hehe, I think it’s pretty clear I’m not a medic anymore, or at least not until I practice it regular again. It’s safe to say the TCM soldiers and I had pretty different minds. I was the one to call staying on balc, It’s something I often do as a soldier myself, thus had a different expectation for positioning.
While Mirelin and Anty are amongst the best rocket surfers, I don’t think my dodging was that terrible, and we’ve certainly had anything from weak to steamroll PCWs. -Rather the chemistry of the team last night – It’s TF2, not mathematics.

mumble was timing out for me constantly on badlands, and for gran i couldn’t comm at all for some reason i could only hear other people, not very good for torden if im his pocket. :(
