Torden — Thinking about it, it’s a pretty big fish to reel in, or a complex jigsaw puzzle to solve – getting 12 busy people of all kinds of backgrounds and geographical locations and timezones to meet on the same server just a week after the initial tournament.
-But with the safe hands of 
Ashkan, dedication from contestants, and a bit of luck, the details for the upcoming showmatch are now looking pretty solid. And it goes a little something like this:

You’ve had weeks to both suggest and arrange this competition you’re talking about, but you haven’t, have you?
Macisum and the 5 medics in question were selected based on a combination of skill, attitude, maturity, and dedication to the game. They deserve it as much or more than anyone I know + smileyface.

It’s not really about having the absolutely best players and being fair about it. It’s mainly about what’s best for the event (and thereby the scene). You want someone serious, reliable and communicative with integrity, who won’t bring down morale or stain the image of the event. I’d rather not leave that up to chance, through a contest.
Also, you have to ask yourself what is really fair. Is it fair that some arrogant, half-inactive douchebag demoman gets to have this experience instead of an active, hard-working, humble and generally pleasant demoman with slightly lower skill?
For this event, we used some great players for the cup stage and the casting, and didn’t have too many options remaining. Others were excluded due to bad behaviour or reputation. One person wanted to leave the spotlight to someone else.
So to any good player wanting to partake in events like these: Show your interest and make sure you’re pleasant, reliable and communicative peer. That’s harder than trying to win any skill contest.

- Rulah and TotalBiscuit will assumingly have the highest ping (~150-180) since they will be playing from Finland. They both play Scout though, so it’s not that bad.
- The rest should have 100-150.

150-180 ping as scout is bad man, the only class who can play with this ping is medic
