After some time here are some new movies.
First one is Unstable by otis, some really nice frags.
Following that, the new community movie by FreezeR called Refusion Vol.3
Another movie is about the Crucial Team. Made by grid
Last one is made by
alfa, about him and
TviQ.
Thats all for now. So what you think about them?

TweetFirst movie by far the best imo <3 awesome frags, allthough i'm abit tired of just seeing these clips of just one good air-shot, would rather see a spree of 1 person airshotting followed by some normal picks. single airshots are just, common. ;o
- # - nice! +2It made me dizzy, felt like it was all fastforwarded O_O
- # - nice! +1I think Refusion volume 3 must have been shit hard to manage to get some kind of flow in this Frag Clip Thread #2 movie. I understand that such clips are what u mostly get when asking for community footage but for me tf2 movies are the best when there are longer clips so u get an understanding of what is going on… To see some decision making behind all those bad ass frags is what gets me going.
edit: the all we are movie has some sick camera angles thingies. usually i think they are lame but these ones actually look pretty good.(1.29-1.33 for example)
- # - nice! +4A little disappointed that TviQ’s one-shot-double-kill-headshot-medic-for-drop-through-other-player-Machina-snipe wasn’t featured ;D
I loved the angles in All We Are but wow, please don’t slow it down so much that it makes what’s actually on the screen look terribly un-sync’d and horrid.
Other than those minor gripes, great movies. Really well done guys.
- # - nice! +2tviq 2strong :D

Unstable had some great frags; but unfortunately, I don’t feel it was long enough to really get going.
Refusion volume 3 I have mixed feelings about. The first half of the movie, with the first track, is super slick. Great kills, edited exceptionally, and just pretty much perfect. However, after the music switch, I don’t think the standard of editing was consistent. It just felt like an entirely different frag movie, and although I stuck with it till the end, I feel that it was like watching a different movie altogether. That said, the first half was excellent.
Crucial team movie – a pretty decent movie, but – and this is an important but for me – I felt disconnected from the entire movie; I feel that the music and movie itself weren’t synced, and a lot more could have been done with the movie had there been a little more work done between making the action and music fit together. The actual style of editing from a video standpoint was excellent though. I’m not sure if a different music choice would have made a difference (I know that theres the bit about holding hands, but thats about it when it comes to syncing).
alfa and TviQ – excellent kills, just all around great frags – however, a pure scout movie (yes, yes, I know there was sniping as well) has to be perfectly edited in order to keep my attention, and although I watched it until the end for the frags alone, it didn’t immerse me as much as longas’, or Gregs’ showcase videos (a. yes, I know Gregs video was a crafty hat tip to longas’ video, b. no, it’s not my longas fanboi-ism showing through, I truly feel that both are great examples of how to make a scout movie interesting).
Please bear in mind that I’m not slating any of these videos – heck, I couldn’t do better, nowhere near, in terms of both frags and editing, and I love having new frag movies to watch – I’m just giving you my personal honest opinions (actually, whether you want to read them or not :P).
