Torden — Division 1 is thinning out, Vital/Boner, Übersexuals and Level^ are out, while “Respawn Romancers” appear to be out of commission, starting their week2 at week5. Last week saw our first predicted point share between Vital and Trick17, in what appears to have been a close game. Xen team also got a taste of Gravel Pit madness, losing valuable points to MIPC after having steamrolled on Gullywash (or was it Gully last?). Division favourites Broder and Yoyotech asserted a hand on the prize with dominant games against Illegal and Blast respectively.

Due to bugs in Valve’s Gravel Pit, ETF2L has quite generously offered to allow teams to choose a different map this week. Considering the originality of our competitive community, we’ll go with the assumption week3 maps are Badlands and Granary. Joining me for predictions this week are Skeej (VYE), Hat (Yoyotech), Drosophile (idk?), Zebbosai (Broder), and Fish (renoB) who’s even helped out with the write ups.

It’s difficult to gauge a team that only plays when Earth aligns with the Sun, Moon, Jupiter and Admirable’s head. Eternity to win as they will be alot sharper than Respawn romances who will miss 2 soldiers for 2 weeks. I still think it will be really close and could see one of the maps go to golden cap but Eternity will edge it in the end.

Decerto to take it, but again will be a really tight game. Vital are bedding in their line up after a few shifts and might make e a few small errors that will come from not playing together for as long as decerto. Vital had a close badlands against Broder in week 1. Was it a fluke, or could they repeat the effort this week?

Illegal v trick 17: With Illegal being one of the pre season favourites for winning the season, they hold a strong card against the German newcomers, as the team now seems to be back on track and playing regularly again. The Finns hold far greater death match power, but with tactical maps as Granary, one can’t count the the Germans out.

There’s only 1 div1b game to predict, as VYE already took down MIPC in what some would consider an upset. Blast and idk? gets the week off due to mentioned folds. The likelyhood of Xen beating Yoyotech is about the same as that of Equlibrium taking Epsilon. Best of luck.
