Trath — It was supposed to be yet another regular Sunday, but then out of the blue Team Dignitas – the organization, not the team (there is no team) made an announcement: they will be hosting a 1 day cup for TF2, which being kindly sponsored by Alienware, means cash prizes. Sui – the guy that lets you know of all sorts of Dignitas related news on IRC, casually spilled out the announcement that there is a TF2 cup, and linked to a page with specifics. What you need to know about the cup:

The cup taking place on the 29th of April.
100 Pound sterling for first place, £50 for 2nd, and £25 for both 3rd and 4th places.
Its gonna be a blast and EVERYONE IS INVITED, just sign up – there is room for 32-teams only, and 14 spots have been taken already (as of writing this post) == 18 spots remaining.
Its all bo1 matches except for the Grand Final, which will be the usual bo3 spectacle.
As for the unlocks and configs go, they’re keeping things vanilla with the ETF2L S12 Ruleset.

Idling @ #dignitas.cup on the day of the cup is mandatory, and you can start checking in 1-hour before the cup (by messaging dignitas\Sui). The first round of matches starts at 19:00 CET.
