Byte — Is a rare opportunity for us Europeans to take a look at some of Australian’s TF2 finest players about. Well I’m sure not alot of people follow the Australian scene, but gradually the EU competitive players are paying much more attention to the US now than before. I’m hoping in some time the Australian side gets more credit where due. They equally have some talented players, and surprisingly overall they have a bigger pool of talented demomen in general over the US :D

I must mention it should of been the top tier team currently SQL going through to the final, however as they lost 3 of their core players for unknown reasons 1 spot is now left open for the Invite Masters Grand Final. Both teams BoB and Spadebox have roster issues, and it’s going to be a battle of who can adapt the most and keep the team spirit/momentum going til the very end.

The semi-final will be played in the same as the EU format, best of 3 maps. However a slight change, is certain unlocks allowed, they too are more open minded people who can cope with a bit more variation in a game, and have the following unlocks allowed – [Link]

I will be focussing on 2 of those weapons mainly which I would love to see in the EU scene, paintrain and boston basher, one increasing the vulnerability but capability of capping quicker and the other to build uber with the medic, making it a frantic game one would hope!
