The newly anointed TCM Gaming enter tonight’s Premiership fixture barely running on the fumes of that impressive double Golden Cap draw with Team Infused in May, having been blindsided by an electrifying performance from Punchline on Sunday.
Their opponents Crack Clan have had a turbulent season to date, failing to make a dent against the title contenders since the Spanish exodus and being reluctant to pick up points against their mid table neighbours.
As clichéd as it may sound, this is a must win game for both teams if they hope to secure a playoff spot at the end of the month. Crack Clan currently hold the fourth spot with double the points of their opponents who languish second from bottom, but with two games in hand TCM Gaming remain well in contention for a podium finish in Season 12.

Join us tonight on VanillaTV to hear myself, Admirable, get schooled in casting yet again as the delectable djc drips that stateside strategic sweetness in to your ears. Fear not, there will be more much than an aural experience presented as we have a debut streamer performance from the man with extrasensory perception when it comes to Team Fortress 2, Boomeh; he’s a nice guy really.
Find out what the team captains had to say in the build-up to one of the season’s most important fixtures below the cut…
TCM Gaming’s führer Byte offered up this insightful pre match statement:
“So TCM’s debut was a classical loss over the ever so talented French team, Punchline. Having shed some light about the morale in Punchline’s team, the win for them has probably boosted them out of the dumps and fuelled them for success, and why not they deserved to win last Sunday!
This game is a must win game for either team, with both teams needing the points for that 3rd or 4th spot place into the playoffs, TCM have had a rough time since the start of the season switching to 4 different scouts due to every single one having real life commitment ties. Not to make excuses but despite our vast experience with the players we have, gelling in as a team has been very hard.
So tonight we’re going to have come out with all the stops against this fresh Israeli team, we know we can demolish them no matter how much Retshawk gets pocket heals. Our main Achilles heel is morale and negativity, if we remain positive we can literally beat any team :) gl hf to both teams!”
Crack Clan’s explosive talisman Retsh0ck illustrated his own take on things, channelling José Mourinho just a little bit:
“TF2 in its essence many times could be a betrayal, TF2 at times could be full of surprises, and as we know it’s not always the best team that wins and goes through. We have every reason to feel that we can take a step forward or a step backwards, so we know this game is going to be very, very difficult. Culturally, they’re very strong and have been for many years. They’re very good in counter attack, and they are very quick and clever, and they know how to defend.
This isn’t my first time experiencing this, since I have come up against TCM with the old cc etc, so obviously I know perfectly well just how difficult they can be. I intend to pass this message very clearly onto my players so that they know it’s very serious and we’re best prepared for tonight. And also if it’s possible, we’d like to have the fans’ full support – their help will be really important.”
