Wednesday dual cast Nations Cup Action!

Trell — With the wealth of casts we’ve brought you recently, I consider the current state of VanillaTV to be somewhat akin to the old Ferrero Rocher advert. ”VanillaTV, with all these casts, you’re spoiling us!”

Tonight is no different! We’re bringing you a 6v6 Nations Cup Group game between the two favourites of Group B, Israel and Russia. Equal on points, they’ll both be looking for the win tonight to take control of the group. CommanderX took the time to get a quote from each side:

Asaf ‘Retsh0ck’ Katz:

Tomorrow we have a nations cup games, which is always an important game. It’s significant for both economic and sporting reasons and of course we want to win. Our players, who have travelled with their squads a few days ago, are completly ready. matnuN and Tarkus will both start up front – so that’s 2 players from our starting 6. I don’t want to confirm who the other players are just yet – but I can confirm that Royze won’t be playing.

I think Russia has had a successful season so far, and that’s never easy, but what matters is not what they did before, what matters is the quality and the potential the team has, and as I was saying before, when you have a top coach and when you have very good players – the quality and the class are always there.

You have to respect your opponent obviously, they’re at the group stage at match two so their motivation is high and they will seek the win, but we’ll be there to stop them from doing that hopefully.

We think we’re gonna have a very difficult game, but we believe that we can pull a win here, and manage to grab those important 6 points.

Hitman:

I have watched the demos of the “Israel vs Ireland” match and saw there was just a few interesting things. I learnt that team Israel wasn’t one of the highest teams of this cup. And found out the following: They are strong because of their agressive play (Soldiers arcade) and powerful demoman. Their weaknesses that I see is their not outstanding medic and scouts, who run w+m1. Also they got a problem with their calling, we can often see that a part of their team does one thing and another one the other thing. The result of our match will depend extremely on the mood of our team and begning of the game. Besides,badlands is a difficult map for us because we need to act very agressive. My prediction for the result on badlands will be – 4:3 or 5:2 for us. If we win on badlands, gullywash will be easy. :)
