Tonight, while every other country gets their “sweet 16″ round of playoff games played, the only quarter final game ready decides not to wait and get the grudge match over with. These two teams know each other all too well. In the last nations cup (hosted by ESL), it was the Germans on the receiving end of losing, however it was against team 
UK, which was in a nutshell the English in disguise
The Germans will be looking to avenge defeat, even the non-English will experience defeat
The question will be who will come out on top? Both teams are stacked with experience and skill. Can the experience of TF2 veteran Byte shout and call his team to victory? Will Numlocked prove once again why he is one of the best demomen in Europe? Or will the Germans strength of Stefan and Thy be enough to get the monkey off their backs and move onto the semi-finals of the nations cup? With Badlands and Gullywash being the two maps (with Granary as a decider), we can expect some classic action from two of the “big 4″ of the nations cup. As captain, Numlocked should have looked to create the best possible lineup.
Kicking Byte and Greg/Stark (probably Greg) for Shintaz would make them a whole lot better.
Byte isn’t needed as Numblocked/Hat, have in the past or are currently the callers for their teams, and are supposed to be good at it.
Any medic that doesn’t drop ubers and makes a ton of mistakes would be just fine – Fish or somebody like Kaidus/Hat off classing, you could bring Mike to replace the soldier position for Hat.
TL;DR
INB4 England to get rolled, probably by the German scouts.

Don’t put words in my mouth, I obviously never said you are bad at TF2 (what grounds would I even have to say that?).
In case you did not understand, my thought is that your Skills as a Mastermind are not needed (and it turns out Seb is calling anyhow), and that getting a better scout would be worth more than w/e advantages you give to the team as a Medic over someone such as Fish (for example).
There was no relay for the game yesterday, I don’t really know what was going on. Apparently Greg played ok on Badlands and good on Gullywash? Didn’t play much attention to Bullywash. From what I could tell on Badlands the German heavy classes were not pulling through, or you could even say Germany as a team wasn’t pulling through.
Seeing as it was in your Pimphouse or whatever its called, STVs would be appreciated.

i think england as a team knows exactly which medic/scout etc they want to play with.
Of course everyones allowed to have an opinion, and you may think that certain individual players would be better, but team chemistry is a lot more important. That’s the simple reason why certain players get chosen over others, especially with nations like england where there are quite a lot of talented players.
