atmo — With the group stages finally done and dusted after a late night last night, the first “serious” set of fixtures is about to commence, with a set of eight nerve-wracking single map games in the first round of the tournament’s double elimination stage. Having given  NITROSE and  Decerto their fair share of airtime already, the pick of the bunch for competitiveness in these eight games is Elemental Violence vs Punchline on cp_snakewater.

After yesterday’s endurance test of five group stage games in a row, we can expect a few weary heads and the teams can be forgiven for not starting precisely on time, but with still several subsequent elimination rounds to complete today, we’re hopeful that the teams will be getting underway as close to the official 12:00 time-slot as possible.
