Welcome to what is essentially one large work in progress article designed to help you get the most out of i46 – whether you’re attending or sat at home like the massive LAN dodger you are (OHHAI Koeitje). I’m starting small but keep checking back, as soon as I have any more information I’ll be sure to get it onto this article which will be continually bumped as time goes on.
We’ll be seated within Hall 3, just away from the main TF2 floor area from what we’ve learned so far. We’ll be sporting our usual spiffing attire – come over and introduce yourself. Byte gives phenomenal (if slightly rapey) hugs.
We’ll be casting throughout the event with webcams starting sometime on Thursday night. If it’s worth covering then by golly we’ll be covering it. To do so we’re taking a small army of volunteer staff members who’ll be on hand to cast, stream and generally make things happen.
If there something you’d like us to cover? Someone you’re especially interested in us interviewing? Let us know!
VanillaTV [The Camera Crew]
Resident audio/visual geniuses (I omitted them from version 1 of the article, guilt++) Bones and CUBE will be prowling the halls taking video footage, performing interviews and generally helping to populate our youtube channel with all manner of awesome. Get drunk and do something stupid in front of them, they’ll be sure you get the attention you deserve.

The Youngblood raffle
A little while ago we lost a stalwart of our community in Kenneth “Youngblood” Nilsson who fell to Cancer. It’s our responsibility as a community to recognise his contribution. Beta has been working hard to secure some swag which it’s his intention to raffle off with the proceeds going to Cancer research. Naturally VanillaTV are going to be on hand to support his sterling efforts.
When someone taps you on the shoulder to ask you to join in and buy a ticket or two we’d love for you to do so, how about you forgo that next beer and raise a virtual glass to our fallen brother instead?
Bones movie competition
Results will be announced just prior to the final. See this link, for more details.
The world famous group photo
The group photo will take place before the TF2 final at 16:00 over by the old camping area (Out of the main doors and head to the top left hand side of the car park). Don’t be late.
Everyone loves putting names to faces, if you spot someone in our stream that hasn’t been tagged leave their name in the comments of the photo.

Pirate Radio @ i46 (~10PM Saturday)
Greg, Kaidus & CommanderX will be bringing an exclusive live edition of Pirate Radio directly from i46 on Saturday night. It’ll take place 30/45mins after the last game of the night is played, will be broadcast by webcam and will include the most hilarious top drunk players to be found.
Premiership Teams Attending
The plan shows TF2 located pretty much exclusively in Hall 3, a stones throw away from VanillaTV. Chaplain and I have had a stab at documenting some of the team locations. Is your team missing? Drop a comment and let me know where your team is sat!
I think that about covers it for now.
If there’s anything else that you think would be useful to add, let me know.
