uV Gaming won’t need much of an introduction. Most will remember them as the team that finished top of Division 1 in Season 11 at the beginning of this year. After having beaten current Premier teams Punchline and Quarantine on their way to the title, the team skipped a season and are now finally back in attendance. The team also complete the majority of the most recent Russian National squad, who were very narrowly beaten by eventual finalists Sweden in an intense 3 map nailbiter.

On the other side of the coin we have ALUMINUM, a team that have been together for considerably less time than their counterparts, but are by no means lacking the talent to make up for it. The ironic illiterate (just kidding, America!) bunch consisting of half a dozen players who were probably at least once earmarked for future greatness, including German demoman  Brego and star scout  Septique.

Let’s get a few thoughts from  Forsak3n and  Skeej about tonight’s match:

Forsak3n: Last two weeks we had some problems with gathering all of our players for pcws (so I even played demoman a few times :p) but tonight we will have a full lineup and we’ll be looking to show decent results. I think Brego is a great player who is able change the outcome of different situations when he’s playing well, so we’ll try to shut him down when we can. cu@prem!

Skeej: Seeding wise we’re happy to be matched up against UV first because we have a feel for their playstyle and kinda know what to expect, in contrast to Naughty Badmen and TRIADS who have some x-factor players and are hard to predict for us. We will have to put great focus into getting our coordination together, considering how freshly assembled we may be as a team. So far, that seems to be going the right way. At least I can say this match will most probably be good for the spectators, as our pcws vs UV have always been fast paced, with both teams not afraid to play in a really aggressive fashion. I hope tonight’s game will be as close as our pcws, but with our team gaining the final edge this time!

So, the question is: Will uV be on the same wavelength and allow their experience to shine through, or will ALUMINUM be able to show their mettle?

Ugh, I should hang myself for that. Anyways, casting the game tonight is  Pledge and  Heavy Is GPS, with  Comedian streaming. Hope to see you there!
