Chaplain — Acronyms seem to be everywhere these days, whether they comprise fairly innocuous words such as laser, radar or skuba, or represent vast corporations and internet slang, they have become so ingrained within daily life it pains me to imagine a world without them.

It seems fitting then, that we are merely hours away from embarking upon one of the most acronym laden journeys in VanillaTV history; the long-awaited clash between fourth-place heavyweights Quarantine and the newly christened TLR. This is what the two sides had to say about the upcoming clash:

Zappis – “We’re facing one of our most important matches in season 13 and we’re feeling pretty good with our newly formed lineup considering the time we have played together. TLR are a good team and I expect an intense match ending in of course, our victory. GL HF”

Evilmoon had a more in-depth response to my probing:

Evilmoon - “I think both teams have a good chance of winning, in my opinion the game could go both ways. I’m personally pretty excited for the game. The game itself is probably close to being the most important game of the season for us. Qn’s dm is good, especially the defensive threat they pose, and from what I’ve seen when we’ve played against them, the main dangermen for us are Zappis or Fuo”

With both teams believing it could go either way, this match looks like it could be a scorcher; thankfully we have the asbestos-handed Admirable and resident firestarter Djc to dissect the action, as well as the omnipresent Comedian on the camera, this is a game that no TF2 aficionado can afford to miss.

The CAD combo will be serving the hot, live action tonight from 21:15 CET, so make sure you don’t miss a minute of this fierce showdown.
