Beta — Tonight we are happy to bring you another instalment of ABC Tuesday with yet another ETF2L S13 Premiership Game!
It’s been some time since we have had a Premiership games on a Tuesday let alone consecutive nights. Is there something currently in the water? OR is this a sign of believing “Monday & Tuesday are too early in the PCW week for games” are coming to end?
Whatever you believe, tonight Arx, Beta, Comedian are on hand to bring you Quarantine vs Epsilon eSports
atmo — It’s Tuesday, and you all know what that means. ABC‘s police procedural rom-com Castle was on last night and should have already been enjoyed by thousands of pirates and Nathan Fillion fangirls worldwide.
Funnily enough, there’s another ABC that’s actually slightly more relevant here. Yes indeed, our triumvir of erstwhile regulars is back, with AcidRenix, Beta and Comedian reuniting to fight the corporate broadcast overlords and reclaim their position as the most popular ABC in the world.
The spectacle for this evening is brought to you courtesy of ETF2L Division 1, pitting the i45 bright-lights of Elemental Violence against uV Gaming. Or is that uV Ninjas? Desperate for gossip, Pirate Radio presenter CommanderX has infiltrated the Russki ranks, but is currently relegated to the back-up spot for the “enthusiastic supporter” slot. This evening we will hopefully be seeing full line-ups for both teams, which should give us close results. and has been drafted up to play in place of forsak3n as he is unable to play, however this should still produce a close game.
elem.v’s medic Ace has high hopes for the fixture as well, commenting:
I think it’s gonna be a great game, we love playing against uV.
According to Ace, elem.v have already been playing mindgames against uV by playing a practice match against them last night with a severely under-par substitute player:
We pcwed them yesterday and lost, but we had TheSucker to merc as soldier.
With uV not having played an official since mid-September, it’s good to hear of them getting some keen practising in, and both teams are definitely raring for their first win of the season.
Our ABC combo will be bringing you the live action starting at 21:15CEST tonight, so make sure you tune in! If you can’t wait that long, have fun rewatching The Green Beret for the next seven hours. I’ll be watching Castle.
Pledge — The wait is over. After a long summer of TF2 action, drama, gossip and players switching teams, it’s finally time to kick things off! Tonight sees the first coverage of ETF2L’s new season of 6v6 TF2 action. While all the Premiership teams have their games scheduled for Thursday, the first Division 1 teams are kicking it off tonight. On one hand we have International Secret Intelligence Service duking it out against TwistedPlay, but the game up for display tonight will be the one with the second Russian team in Division 1. uV Gaming will face off against the Naughty Badmen on the week 1 maps Badlands and Gullywash. With both teams barely missing out on a spot in the Premiership last week, surely they will be the looking to bounce back with a win against one of their main rivals for the title. Simple question is though, who will start at the top and who will find themselves at the bottom of the table after the first week?
Beta — After roughly a month break, ABC Tuesday returns tonight to bring you the second round of the ETF2L Premiership Qualifiers.
Tonight we will see Naughty Badmen vs Chinese Mafia for a chance to face off against our winners from last night uV Gaming. The winner of tonights game will have 1 hand on the only available premiership spot with the loser joining Division 1.
Being September and football season, this game will be at an earlier than usual 20 CEST / 19 BST – So don’t be late!
Beta — We have had quite a busy schedule recently, with some great competitions and games. Since we launched the idea of ABC Tuesday in mid-May, we have casted and streamed over 13 regular showings as well as some extra special between fillers :-)
atmo — This week’s ABC cast sees the return of prodigal son-turned-cameraman Comedian, reuniting our familiar weekly trio.
With the first semifinal already completed, tonight’s match up between Finland and France decides who takes the remaining spot in the inaugural Highlander Nations Cup’s final against Germany. Will losing to Germany in the group stages work as motivation or intimidation for Finland? France have progressed this far without any losses to their name, which Finland will be hoping to change with a victory tonight.
