Jarppa - People over at Team Fortress 2 Finland (in Finnish, duh.) revealed today some details about Assembly’s TF2 competition’s group stage. For the first time ever at Assembly, cp_snakewater_rc4 will be in the group stage map pool. Other maps in the group stage map pool are cp_badlands and cp_gullywash_pro.

Jarppa — Last night Assembly announced the last three teams that are invited to Assembly Summer 2011′s TF2 competition. SG-1, Dignitas, Anexis, RAGE.eSports and Ze germans and crew were invited earlier this month making it a total of 8 teams.

Two of the last three teams were already mentioned on the ETF2l forum, which are Illegal and The MIPC Organization. The third team is Quarantine, which has players from all over Northern Europe and Great Britain.

Jarppa — Few moments ago, Assembly revealed some details from their TF2 tournament.

Year after year Team Fortress 2 has risen among players and guest to be one of the favourite games in Assembly. High-speed matches and colourful personas in the community have ensured countless memorable moments.

This year the prize pot is almost halved from what it was last year. (6 250 euros)

1st prize: 2100 €
2nd prize: 1050 €
3rd prize: 500 €

Trell — Assembly just released a press release confirming that TF2 will be seen once again, with a 3650 EUR prize pool.

In addition to already announced games, ASSEMBLY Summer 2011 will host 4 more games: Team Fortress 2, NHL 11, Super Street Fighter 4 and Heroes of Newerth. There is no doubt that ASSEMBLY is going to be the hottest gaming festival of summer yet again.
