Update: I had a meeting today with assembly organisers and it seems there will be no tf2 games at winter assembly. I keep you updated if theres some changes.

M0re — Winter assembly needs you. I’ve been in contact with the admins about the possibility to have TF2 at WASM. I’ve been told that theres less than 10% chance for it after horrible summer assembly. Hardly got enough teams to join the tournament and teams were honestly low-mid mixes. I’m now early to have chance to get TF2 a spot in and I need teams to confirm their attendance for me to have a finished list of at least 8 teams to present for assembly admins. Also I’ve been talking with Comedian about two casters to attend the event, if it happens, to get some streams going on for you fans out there.

Teams interested should contact CKRAS|M0re as soon as possible over on Quakenet or Steam.

Martn — Good morning people, in about 10 minutes the final goes live!  nvc and  Admirable are ready to go.

The final will be a battle between Finland’s finest SG-1 and the Finnish challenger  Anexis eSports. Will Anexis be able to take a map? Or will SG-1 keep their head cool and take the victory? Tune in to find out!

Martn — It’s Summer Assembly time! We got a whole friday and saturday filled with Assembly goodness for you.  MIPC,  RAGE,  Quarantine,  NE.PENTIA,  SG-1, Anexis,  Memento and  Ze Germans will battle it out to steal  Dignitas‘ (r.i.p) their Assembly title.

VanillaTV will be covering the whole event from group stages until the losers final!  Admirable and  nvc  will be shout-casting the group stages and I will be streaming it for you.

Jarppa - People over at Team Fortress 2 Finland (in Finnish, duh.) revealed today some details about Assembly’s TF2 competition’s group stage. For the first time ever at Assembly, cp_snakewater_rc4 will be in the group stage map pool. Other maps in the group stage map pool are cp_badlands and cp_gullywash_pro.

Jarppa — There hasn’t been any official announcement yet, but Team Dignitas isn’t coming to Assembly. After being at all Assembly LAN events where TF2 compo has been arranged, Dignitas isn’t showing up due to not getting six players for the weekend under the same roof.

Jarppa — Last night Assembly announced the last three teams that are invited to Assembly Summer 2011′s TF2 competition. SG-1, Dignitas, Anexis, RAGE.eSports and Ze germans and crew were invited earlier this month making it a total of 8 teams.

Two of the last three teams were already mentioned on the ETF2l forum, which are Illegal and The MIPC Organization. The third team is Quarantine, which has players from all over Northern Europe and Great Britain.

Jarppa — Few moments ago, Assembly revealed some details from their TF2 tournament.

Year after year Team Fortress 2 has risen among players and guest to be one of the favourite games in Assembly. High-speed matches and colourful personas in the community have ensured countless memorable moments.

This year the prize pot is almost halved from what it was last year. (6 250 euros)

1st prize: 2100 €
2nd prize: 1050 €
3rd prize: 500 €
