Update: I had a meeting today with assembly organisers and it seems there will be no tf2 games at winter assembly. I keep you updated if theres some changes.

M0re — Winter assembly needs you. I’ve been in contact with the admins about the possibility to have TF2 at WASM. I’ve been told that theres less than 10% chance for it after horrible summer assembly. Hardly got enough teams to join the tournament and teams were honestly low-mid mixes. I’m now early to have chance to get TF2 a spot in and I need teams to confirm their attendance for me to have a finished list of at least 8 teams to present for assembly admins. Also I’ve been talking with Comedian about two casters to attend the event, if it happens, to get some streams going on for you fans out there.

Teams interested should contact CKRAS|M0re as soon as possible over on Quakenet or Steam.

Trell — It’s time to shed a tear and say goodbye to Season 10 of ETF2L’s Premiership league.  Tonight sees the final game play out (before the playoffs, that is), between this season’s surprise overperformers from Spanrael,  Crack Clan and those crafty Finns,  CKRAS.

With  Infused winning both maps over  equilibrium last night, they’re currently sitting pretty at the top of the Premiership, meaning that Crack Clan need to win both maps tonight.  This would then put them joint second on top of the table, however, it would mean they have won one more map than Infused, and according to a little chat I had with Crasp yesterday morning, this may just be enough to allow them to take the top spot and best seeding for the winner playoffs.  EDIT: Apparently, according to ETF2L admins, if CC and Infused end on the same points (ie, CC win both maps cleanly tonight, then they’ll have to play a seperate game vs each other to see who takes 1st spot and the best seeding!

Continue reading for some of the highlights of the past season!

Trell — As the dust settles, and Season 10 of ETF2L prepares to ride off into the sunset, the top 4 teams are all gearing up for one final push with their final game of the season, starting tonight.  2 matches tonight will shake the table up a little, however, if results go according to expectations, not much should differ.

We’ll see current 4th placed  Relic play 3rd placed  Epsilon over cp_badlands and cp_snakewater.  If Relic manage a 2-0 win then they’ll move up to 3rd place, but this will do little to help them in the playoff, since under this seasons rules, 3rd plays 4th, the winner of which plays 2nd, whilst the winner of that game goes on to play 1st for the championship.  However, if Epsilon win 2-0, technically they will jump above  Infused to 2nd place in the league**.

VanillaTV will be casting the Relic/Epsilon game with  CB and probably  Tyrone from 21:15 CET, while on the theoretical Main Stage of VanillaTV, we’ll see  Byte and  Sal cover the  Broder vs  Exotic game!

But that’s not the only games tonight, Diggy, CKRAS, Infused and Equilibrium are also all in action!

Trell — Update!  We have one more late night cast for you tonight – more ESH Cup action, with the highly delayed Quarter Final between Yoyotech and Broder being played at 22:45 CET, and casted by VanillaTV.

Trell — Tonight sees more TF2 action (halfway through 3 full days of excitement for TF2 fans) with those cheeky chaps  Infused.Tt facing off against  Relic in the ETF2L Premiership.  I’ve done some league theorycrafting below, theres quite a huge possibility that I have things wrong, so if you notice any discrepancies, then lemme know on IRC or in the comments, thanks!

Trell — Yet another cancellation, I’m afraid!  This time it’s due to some failing over at M0re’s ISP.  In the words of the great  Honky:

some worker shitter has physically cutted the lines to m0re’s house.. so there is nothing to be done

This means that the prizes will be carried over to tomorrows game with Infused vs Dignitas, and you’ll be in with a chance again, as we will run the same competition.  You’ll have to repost though once the match article is up tomorrow morning.  We will look around to see if we can get something casted tonight though!  Sorry guys!

Midweek ETF2L Premiership action for you tonight, as Team Dignitas continue their flurry of activity with the second of 3 official matches this week, this time vs CKRAS.  They will also be in action tomorrow night, vs Infused.

Trell —  Apparently according to M0re, it’s definitely confirmed for tonight now!

The portugese guys from eq have only played 4 maps in total this season, and unfortunately have lost all of them, while CKRAS are doing slightly better with 4 maps played, but more importantly, theyve chalked up 1 win.  As the Premiership stands currently, CKRAS are 2 places above eq, so both teams could do with an all important 2 map win tonight.

Maps are confirmed as cp_obscure_remake, which has been the cause of some controversy over its selection for this season, and everyones favourite fallback map, cp_badlands.  Join Comedian and Chaplain on VanillaTV Open Mic from 21:10 CET onwards to view what should be a great match!
