Complexity Gaming, the prominent MGO of North America, has decided to stop supporting Team Fortress 2. Effective immediately, coL has released their TF2 roster. In it’s glory days, coL.TF2 went on undefeated rampage and was arguably the best TF2 in NA and one of the best in the world. coL actively supported it’s TF2 division and was one of the main teams which attended the ESEA LAN every season. Tragic event indeed and a huge blow to the North American TF2 scene.

Today we have decided that the time has come to release our Team Fortress 2 division.

Over the past couple years we have greatly enjoyed working with our TF2 gamers and participating in the community. We’d like to thank everyone who played for us during this period, with a special shoutout to Carnage who has been leader of the squad for some time. He will be remaining in the organization and assisting us with different projects.

Complexity.TF2 was -

  • Daniel “Carnage” Sturdivant
  • Carl “enigma” Yangsheng
  • Kyle “relic” Mims
  • Randy “blackymonster” Besserman
  • Richard “sweater” Klekar
  • Mike “Platinum” Miles
  • Dustin “smaka” W
  • Mithun “animeman” Balachadran

Here’s hoping an MGO steps to the plate and takes coL’s place. Best of luck to all involved!

And…

I had a fun time playing with everyone, I met a lot of cool people. Good luck to all players/teams in the future. I am done with “competitive” tf2.. im sure i’ll play a few pugs from time to time but don’t have the time to obligate myself to the game anymore – carnage

Update: According to oPlaiD

The team isn’t dead, they’re getting rid of Carnage and Relic and Smaka is leaving but the rest are sticking together and putting together a new lineup

If you like airshots, then you’ll immensely enjoy this short but sweet frag video by Gravegun. Going by his own account, he seemed to have met alot of roadblocks whilst making this video, but all has worked out in the end it seems.

My vegas got corrupt twice and my hd died once, I tried to make something decent before something else on my pc crapped out on me

On a related note, daniel has released an EG vs coL highlights video, check it out below:

eXtv‘s Dyonysus has been nice enough to make a highlights video of the recent bout between Evil Genuises and complexity on Coldfront. This incredibly close and intense match up saw both NA teams battle it out for ESEA-I S7. In case you missed it, the video is a great way to catch up on the important frags/moments from the match. For those interested, check out the official match stats here and grab the STV from here.

Complexity Unveils New Line-Up

After much (forced) suspense, Complexity, the ever popular MGO from the other side of the shore, has unveiled a refreshed Team Fortress 2 line-up. Although carnage already said he was filling in the shoes of Complexity’s Demoman Solid Snake following his departure, there was much speculation over who was going to take over the Scout spot. Well the wait is finally over and some surprises are in store for us all.

Today The Syndicate is pleased to announce some changes in our famous Team Fortress 2 lineup.  The squad, lead by Daniel “Carnage” Sturdivant, has enjoyed an impressive run over the past year including championships in ESEA, CEVO and Alienware Arena.  However, as time moves forward life circumstances and team dynamics change.  Thus, today we sadly announce that we are parting ways with the following three players.  We’d like to thank them for an incredible run which was highlighted by their hard work, dedication and loyalty.

Alongside Manny “Solid Snake” Sy, both Complexity’s roaming Soldier Michael “Jaeger” Marcin and Medic Brad “PYYOUR” Ross are calling it quits due to real life commitments. Replacing them are Nick “TheFragile” Leon as Medic, Tyler “TLR” Morgan for Soldier and Justin “Just1n” White as Scout. All three competed in the recent ESEA LAN finals, playing for blight.FANOM

Update: In the comment section, former Complexity medic Pure fills in some gaps:

I guess we should get some semblance of normality here. SolidSnake is done with coL.TF2 to not have to be around all the time and play demoman. He aliases as Old Snake now. Jaeger is done with coL.TF2 to pursue SC2 semi-competitively. I am done with coL.TF2 for a couple specifics reasons and will not be playing for anyone until a LAN. TheFragile, Justin, and TLR are all great players and will round out an already great roster.

Complexity’s refreshed lineup for 2010

Daniel “carnage” Sturdivant (Demoman)
Nick “The Fragile” Leon (Medic)
Tyler “TLR” Morgan (Soldier)
Kyle “Relic” Mims (Soldier)
Carl “enigma” Yangsheng (Scout)
Justin “Just1n” White (Scout)

Interestingly, looking at their ESEA page, Complexity still has Seagull and Lopert in their roster.

Big thanks to abhorrence for his contribution
