Torden — “Tonight”, things will run hot as 2 titans, eMazing Gaming and The Experiment clash together. eMg stars several “2nd generation” star players, and is regarded one of the favourites to win the whole season as one of the most stable lineups across the seas. The Experiment is no pushover either, with 1st gen players from the almost legendary original Pandemic/Complexity roster.

Extine will of course be covering the action for eXtv. Also, the delayed ESEA match between Ex and Classic Mixup is expected (unconfirmed) to be played right after. This match was delayed due to the league denying them play due to a recent TF2 update making their anti-cheat client not work (-and we thought wire was the hassle!). Judging from previous “scrims”, we’re in for 2 tight ones this European Summer morning.

A little over 2 hours ago, EG. CB launched mygamingedge.com – a site that should be added to every competitive TF2 player’s bookmarks.

We created My Gaming Edge to help bring your game to the next level. The top Team Fortress 2 players around the world have gathered to show you what it takes to be the best. These players will not only explain what’s going through their head during live matches but will show you the ins and outs of playing at the invite level, answer your questions and much more. Plus, a weekly podcast featuring the best players in the world breaking down the competitive scene here and in Europe.
The TF2 ecosystem is starving for content that will help the players and the community grow. Our goal at MGE is to do as much as possible to bring you the most up to date news, gossip, league coverage, video content and more.

Whether you are just getting started with competitive play or looking for that extra push to break through to the top level, My Gaming Edge is the place for you.

Currently all of the content is free, but there are plans for a “premium package” involving a subscription. Details on how much exactly remain to be seen, but if the content from these guys is regular, then I can’t see it being an issue.

eMazing Gaming vs FakkelBrigade

  • 20cet, Sunday April 18th, Badlands and Granary
  • STV: tba
  • Casting: ETF2L radio + eXtv. Details tba

The question has been going around a lot in the TF2 community, who does play a better game of TF2? Would it be the European scene, with the dominant demomen or would North America kick some virtual backside with their solid soldiering? And then there is still the one and only question every American will want to see answered, could a European soldier actually master the airstrafe?

Finally, after a lot of bragging about which continent rules this game, we may see a temporary decider (the definite one obviosuly being i40 where NA-team Complexity will most likely attend). Because this weekend we see the ESEA-Open eMazing Gaming take on ETF2L’s Division 1 FakkelBrigade.

Who will win?
