K1ck, having finished fifth in the Premiership table, had to beat redCode a few weeks ago to get this far whilst TCM’s third position guaranteed them a bye through to the second round. Early team news indicates the TCM camp will be down a man tonight as antty is still on holiday – VanillaTF2′s own Torden will be his replacement. No news regarding any changes in k1ck’s lineup but if anything unfolds we’ll be sure to post it as soon as we can.

The maps to be played are the usual suspects: Badlands and Granary followed by a Gullywash as the decider map. Tune into VanillaTV who will be covering the action as it unfolds with casters flushy and Greg.

Following their loss in the upper bracket final to Germany a couple of weeks ago the UK will be looking to bounce back against a Spanish side they had already beaten in the first round of the upper bracket and certainly fancy their chances of repeating the result. Spain, meanwhile, having progressed through the entirety of the lower brackets to get here taking a number of scalps: first, the previously undisputed kings of TF2, Finland, before beating Sweden and fierce rivals Portugal in the following rounds and have certainly shown to be no pushovers as a result so it promises to be an interesting game.

Tonight’s match will see the familiar maps Badlands and Granary played with a potential Gravelpit decider! Tune in to VanillaTV tonight with casters AcidReniX and Beta covering the action.

Hey folks!

Some days ago the results of the previous votes became public. Yes, I’m talking about ESL’s ladder. The arena maps have been removed and the normal challenges have been disabled. This means you can play only with the help of ESL Instant Challenger or Matchmaker, so there’ll be less no shows. The ladder is just getting better and better, however it’s not the best.

Results of the votes:

• Should normal challenges be turned off in 1on1 ladders?
• Should Arena maps be removed from 1on1 ladders?

Currently two more polls have been added, you can vote on the site of ESL. The goal is to build some active ladders, that’s why ESL needs opinions. The last important information is a new map, dm_turris have been added to the map pool. I think It’s far better for soldier matches than duel_duel2_pro.
