We cannot have the biggest TF2 LAN ever without the biggest TF2 prize pool ever… so we are pleased to open the signups to our £5,000 minimum prize pool tournament for all you spy-crabs out there.

 

Alongside the awesome TF2 community section in hall 3, and the highlander 9v9 tournament taking place during the event, if you are coming as a TF2 fan you will not be dissapointed. We are going to have VanillaTF2 back once again to entertain you all weekend, this time, from the hall itself! When you are not taking part in the tournaments themselves, grab a drink and relax in the bar area of the TF2 zone, and discuss the finer points of hats and frying pans as weapons.

Make sure you get your team together, and sign up for the 6v6 Prize tournament, and the 9v9 Highlander tournament! To sign up – you need to have a BYOC ticket for Insomnia46 – and don’t forget, your tickets are 20% cheaper if you book them before the 6th June – only £73.60! Why wait and take the risk?

Kharne — Team Fortress 2 comes to our Spring LAN again and we are continuing to support the community by putting up a prize fund of at least £600 if 8 or more teams attend. Like all of our other tournaments this prize pot will scale up – so encourage more teams to show up and you will see more money which will be paid out to more teams: Get to 64 teams and even the top 8 win something!

But that’s not the most exciting part, the winning team earns 6 tickets to insomnia46! Our summer LANs are the Mecca of TF2 globally – last summer our tournament was the biggest ever seen and we look to repeat this at insomnia46 in 2012.

atrox_ — The end of the winter Insomnia Series TF2 tournament is coming to a close. Whilst the turnout was abysmal, for lack of a better word, it’s better than nothing.

Playing for the £1000 prize pool in the final will be  Infused (surprise, surprise) facing the mix team  Aeygo. With nothing against Aeygo, now that Infused are back on their main-classes this final, on paper, shouldn’t last too long. It will be up to  Hat/ DroSo/ Honeymustard to pull something out the bag here and DM their way through the teamwork of the Infused bunch

Update: Instead of the elimination bracket, to save time, Aegyo are playing St. George in a best of three game now (3pm GMT/4pm CET), with the winner playing Infused in the Grand Final later today.

i43 TF2 Tournament

Ever since Adam “Damage” Parkins from Rasta Gaming has taken charge of the marketing/sponsorship of i-series, this organisation has been growing in professionalism, sponsors and ways of getting in touch with the scene including us. So what has this man done?

Organized 2 online i43 ticket winning tournaments, yes thats right, one for the Lower Teams, one for the Higher Teams. I cannot express how much we absolutely need to show full support when the staff of Multiplay pull off things like this, if you ever want to see this happen again for TF2, and if you would like your favorite game to continue being competitive at i-series. If you cannot attend the event, but happen to win this online tournament, no fuss you can give the tickets to someone else… So there is absolutely no reason not to signup!
