Lolita — The time has finally come for South African Fortress’s KritzKast Lo-Fi Offclass Cup!

Starting tonight, Elimination rounds kick off at 19:00 (CET) after which Prelims and Semi’s will be held. Finals are to be shoutcasted by none other than GreaverTV, VanillaTV‘s Comedian and KritzKast’s Agro. This will take place on Sunday night (25 March) at 19:00 (CEST, its summer time, dont forget!).

South African Fortress is sure to see an action packed finals with the return of some of our favourite TF2 heroes, check out all the details at 16Bit TF for the rundown on the teams as well as the cup format.

Comedian — While it has mostly gone unnoticed to the European community, CommFT and eXtv are organising a community highlander discussion at 21:00 CET.

Attending will be Free and jinn from CommFT, eXtine and  Mikal from eXtv, Bubblebobbler, INF,  hein and  forn from UGC, Comedian from VanillaTV,  Hildreth from ETF2L, Agro and  Ruskeydoo from KritzKast, wm from Ozfortress and last but not least, dubel from CEVO to discuss the fine points of Highlander and everything surrounding it.

The plan is to have around 1 hour talking about the various questions, after which it will turn into a public chat where we will be taking from you, the community. Of course, like always, there is the risk of overtime, so dont take this schedule too closely to your heart, especially not with so many people attending.

wm — LOTS going on in Australia at the moment…

ozfortress owl6 – our main league is coming to a close for yet another great season. Grand Final games are happening this week with Div4 being played Monday night (in 2nd map this very minute), Div3 Tuesday night, Div1 will be Wednesday 12:30cest (21.30 Australian EST, 06.30 North American EDT) and Div2 is scheduled for Thursday night.

Trent — With the first night as chaotic as expected but highly successful nonetheless, the final rounds of the tournament have been moved forward to tomorrow evening, Saturday the 24th. Tune in to VanillaTV from 1930 CEST tomorrow with Comedian and yours truly Trent for all the action from the most ridiculously pointless form of competitive TF2 you may have ever seen!

Trent — The concept is simple. 6 on 6 TF2, but with no Scouts, Soldiers, or Demomen to be seen. Your first reaction may well be, to quote atrox_, “Sounds retarded,” but think about it for a second or two and hopefully you’ll realise just how fun it can be. The prototype `test´ match was a success and greatly enjoyed by all. The format of the tournament (including maps) will depend on the number of teams, but the winners will each become owners of a coveted Lo-Fi Longwave, courtesy of our friends at KritzKast. (Come on, we all know nothing is more valuable than hats!).

With YoYoTech already in it to win it and VanillaTV set to cast thanks to Comedian, the competition looks fierce for what’s sure to be the most terribly serious event you’ll see this autumn!

Torden — Part “mailbox”, part random stuff off the top of my head, but seems there’s a few things in the wind, so I’ll just plow through then before it gets lost in the haze.

First things first, ETF2L are running a new player awards system this season. Instead of asking randomers to nominate their friends + fellow countrymen, this time around they’ve gotten a selection of community contributors to do it.
