wm — The ozfortress winter league is a closed round-robin based competition which is run seasonally and which uses divisions. Clans may apply to join the competition during a signup phase held before the beginning of each season for intense competitive matches.

Semi final matches start in 90 minutes. If you have nothing to do and feel like spectating some rowdy Australians try and play TF2 now is the time.

Over in koala-land, Team Immunity, a long time player in the Australian MGO scene, have decided to make their grand entry into Team Fortress 2. And what an entry it is as they have picked up, what is, at present – Australia’s strongest TF2 team – Clan A. The -A- folks have made short work of other teams in recent times, whilst grabbing the OZFortress Division 1 title. So without a doubt, IM have snatched up a juggernaut team. More details below;

Australia’s premier multi-gaming team, Team Immunity are proud to announce their entrance into the competitive Team Fortress 2 community. Team Fortress 2 is a rapidly developing and growing game within the e-sports industry. Building on the success of Team Fortress Classic, valve is working actively to tune TF2 into becoming a viable competitive game. With ever growing competitions the scene is set for TF2 to become one of the largest in Australia.

This canidae obsessed video comes courtesy of koala land. Outfoxed is an official sequel to A Very Fox Tale, Foxy is an Australian team, comprising of many, many furry individuals. Darien’s latest masterpiece contains a diverse amount of footage from mucking about as Spy to ridiculous Direct Hit airshots. A very enjoyable video, indeed! Be warned though, the video is of a significant length.

Foxy is an Australian Team Fortress 2 clan, formed in early 2009 and with members from every state in Australia. This is the second frag video created for the clan, containing scrim and match footage from 2010, including ozfortress Winter League (OWL) seasons 2 and 3.

After a hard fought 15 minute round with we-r, -A- hit their grove and showed why they are the #1 clan in the Oceania region. They showed pure dominance over we-r heading into this grand final re-re-re-match vs rewound. The two have faced off in the last 3 big competition finals (csm2, owl2, c4c) with -A- taking the last 2 recent matches.

rewound will need to hit a new level if they are to threaten -A- after beating kings in 2 maps this week. During that match they showed both how good they can be and also how messy they have been vs -A- in the past: lost to -A- 5-1, 5-2 C4C grand final.

As always, it should be a good game to tune into on the standard granlands maps. rewound will definitely put up a better fight than we-r and if the rumours are true and rewound have been far more active – who knows what upset could occur?
