As we’re half through the qualifier cups already it’s time to give you some heads-up.
With TCM-Gaming, Team Dignitas, Epsilon Gaming and PowerGaming placing in the top 4, they made huge cash and also got an invite to the upcoming EMS season 7.

So who will be the 12 missing teams?

The first qualifier kicked off last Tuesday allowing 3 teams to get their tickets for the final tournament.
Peace and Love and To Be Announced took their chance with a win streak straight to the final, which means nothing less than being qualified.

dajackal:

qualification was pretty easy. only first round against pentia took like 15mins but after that we broke their backbone and got 4 rounds fast. final wasn’t played because players needed to go sleep (it was like 00:00 in winland when 3rd round was over)

PENTIA had to deal with unexist and they succeeded.

techtron:

I am very happy that we got qualified to ems, I hope we will finish maybe 2nd place in our table and I wish everyone good luck

Yesterday the 2nd qualifier cup has been played and we have the next 3 teams participating in the EMS.
The Last Resort and unexist took their chances to go unbeaten into the final, which wasnt played due to the fact of CBA-ness.

mvp.:

I’m so thrilled. ESL/EMS is probably the best league/cup, so this was a major step for us.

Also the new team of Refuse managed to achieve their spot.

xzar:

We would’ve expected nothing less but to qualify. The loss to unexist was unfortunate, but boy are those ruskies beastly at granary. We’ll be looking forward to playing them again in EMS.

So here we go now with 10 out of 16 spots taken. Dont miss your chance, as there are 2 more qualifiers coming up:
Tuesday, 07.09.2010 (TOMORROW!), 20cet -> Sign Up
and
Sunday, 12.09.2010, 20cet -> Sign Up

June 19th News
Tagged: jew power pentia

A while ago we did an interview with Loco about his new team, where he told us how he expected to keep collaborating with Pentia (/Nordic). However, it didn’t take long before they parted ways. Today the MGO announces their new TF2 companion, eSrael.

Their lineup will be:
  • Nati “sentor” Sadeh
  • Niv “nivzeh” Eini
  • Matan “matnun” Romanov
  • Raz “zappah” Rimon
  • Daniel “Daniel” Davidovich
  • Dan “Spary” Michaeli

Source: Pentia

Will this mean we’ll be seeing any true blooded jews at any upcoming lan events? Don’t hold your breath. But it’s great to have Pentia back on the scene and wish them the best. The team will be playing in div2b this summer league.

There are more d1/d2 matches being played tonight than what we’re gonna list. For those interested, check them out on ETF2L. We’ll be firing up the radio a few mins before match start!

ETF2L season 7

I dont know? vs FakkelBrigade

  • 21.00cet, div1 week 7, Granary and Gorge
  • STV: fakkelbrigade.eu:27100
  • Mumble Cast (1.2): fakkelbrigade.eu / port 64740, hosted by  Dave,  JimmyBreeze, and  Torden (with TLR vs TCM correspondance by  Anderson)
  • Video Cast: Hosted by Level Up TV, available on ETF2L, in sync with the radio cast.
  • Match page

Words can’t describe this!

Predictions: JB | F2 (doesn’t wanna jinx) | Dave | Torden

TCM-Gaming vs The Last Resort

  • 21.15cet, div1 week 8, Freight and Gorge
  • STV: fakkelbrigade.eu:27102
  • Match page

Words can’t describe this!

Predictions: JB | F2 | Dave | Torden

Special Attack vs Pentia

  • 21.15cet, div2a week 7, Granary and Gorge
  • STV: 94.136.46.14:27022
  • Match page

Not only will we see a conclusion to div1 tonight, but div2a too. Spa are trailing 6 points after Broder, and 2 clean map wins will grant them a tie for the lead – which will force div2a into a tie breaker. Pentia has suffered a lot throughout the season, and has now been declared “to be expired”. But, the team is still adamant on finishing the season with their flag raised to the top. With Admirable back in service (after a prolonged vacation due to Iceland’s wrath on the world), the team looks set to give nothing for free.

Predictions: JB | F2 | Dave | Torden

April 23rd Gossip

It’s no secret that there’s been troublesome times for Pentia lately.  Koeitje left their lineup a while back, and with  Admirable being stuck on vacation, they saw themselves forced to play with 2 mercs in last night’s showdown with Broder. Now things seem to be taking a turn to the worse, with both Line and  Fadestep looking for new teams. ETF2L recruitment posts: Line and Fadestep

Meanwhile things are uncertain for if they will stay together for the conflict ridden showdown vs Special Attack, now that SpA finally has announced themselves as the good guys – and allowed Pentia the use of mercs.

We hope things will be solved without breaking friendships. Good luck to all parts involved.

April 22nd Matches
Tagged: be broder dignitas epsilon fakkelbrigade

Update:

  • D1: TCM won, and is now at 29 points – 4 points after Dignitas. Their last match is against TLR on Freight and Gorge. Idk are 3 points after Dignitas, and are playing their last on Granary and Gorge vs FakkelBrigade.
  • D2B Rockit beat Mister, and is now ready for div1. Congratulations! Mister secured 2nd, and will get the chance for a playoff game
  • D2A: Broder beat Pentia 6-0, meaning Special Attack needs to do the same on Sunday, on Granary and Gorge. If they do that, Broder and SpA will play a final game to decide who wins d2a

ETF2L season 7

The season is officially pronounced to end on Sunday April 25th. To our knowledge, no exceptions are made, and teams not playing their matches are looking at getting stinged by the premise of 0-0 default.

Quite a few matches have yet to be played,  and with only tonight and Sunday remaining as proper playdays, it’s gonna be a race to the finish. So, stuff your granma in a room, put a leash on that dog, give your (imaginary) girlfriend a dildo, and get ready – The beginning of the season finale starts tonight!

Even more so, div2b will in fact be decided right here tonight. Exciting times!

(please correct us if you find incorrect info. This post was made fast)

FakkelBrigade 0 vs 6 TCM-Gaming

  • 21cet, div1 week9, Badlands (4-7) and Gravel Pit (0-2)
  • STV: fakkelbrigade.eu:27103
  • match link

FB are out of the dance in terms of challenging the top3. But, with both this and the match against idk, FB are in the unique position to dictate who wins the season. Dignitas, idk and TCM are extremely close, and TCM needs a minimal of a map win and a draw. FakkelBrigade proved against www last week, they can bring surprises to Gravel Pit. While TCM may be favourites, FB keeps showing they won’t give anything (including who gets Red on badlands) for free.

Predictions: JB | F2  | Dave | Torden

bE 0 vs 6 www

  • 21.15cet, div1 week7, Granary (0-5) and Gorge (0-2)
  • stv: tba

www have already called it quits. Their involvement in this game will still have some influence, as bE and idk? Pink are still battling it out for who ends last.

Predictions: JB | F2  | Dave | Torden

Mister 1 vs 4 Rockit

  • 21.15cet, div2b week9, Badlands (2-3) and Gravel Pit (1-1)
  • stv: fakkelbrigade.eu:27101
  • Mumble cast: Mumble cast: fakkelbrigade.eu / port 64740 – by Dave, and Anderson

This is viewed by many as the division 2b season finale, with arguably the 2 strongest teams in their group fighting it out. But, let’s not forget, iG are trailing behind with only 3 points less. Any sharing of points, will give iG the opportunity to either land on the same points, or even win the division. Both Rockit and Mister have proved to be formidable teams, including Mister’s easy win vs Broder on Gullywash this week. Everything sign leads to this becoming a very tight game.

Predictions: JB | F2 | Dave | Torden

Broder 6 vs 0 Pentia

  • 21.15cet, div2a week9, Badlands (6-1) and Gravel Pit (2-0)
  • stv: tba

While pentia has a theoretical chance achieving the same max points as SpA and Broder, they would have to win both this and vs SpA on Sunday for that to happen. However, Pentia are still in an important position to influence who wins d2a. Unfortunately, things have turned sour, as SpA denies to comment on allowing Penta to use a merc or not. Broder, on the other hand has already accepted the use of Pentia mercs, which makes for a debate on how to get a fair settlement for the teams involved. Some parts of this debate can be seen on the Pentia vs SpA match page. Who is right or wrong can of course be debated, but we hope this can be solved in a way that let’s the game decide who wins the division, and not politics. Time is ticking, as this first match is scheduled for tonight.

Predictions: JB | F2  | Dave | Torden

Infernal Gamers 3 vs 3 Blame

  • 21.15cet, div2b week8, Freight and Gorge
  • stv: tba

As mentioned in the Mister/Rockit match sheet above, iG has a golden opportunity. If they win both maps, they will be 3 points ahead of Mister and Rockit, before their last game. That means Rockit and Mister needs 4 points or more, in order to secure a group win. If they draw on both maps, iG has the chance to end up ahead. But, Blame are no pushovers either, and they’ve served surprised on Gravel Pit earlier in this season. But, the guaranteed winners here, is the spectators!

Predictions: JB | F2  | Dave | Torden

Empathy 1 vs 4 [Former] Nwave

  • 21.15cet, div2a week 8, Freight and Gorge
  • STV: tba

2 teams without any chance of disturbing the top not bottom of their division. We hope they have fun playing it!

Predictions: JB | F2 | Dave | Torden
