Hey guys, just wanted to post up a little news for those of you who don’t regularly read the ETF2L forums. Myself and a few other have just last week restarted #pixeltf2.pickup. For anyone unaware, the channel was originally started sometime in summer last year, but ended up fading away into a bottomless pit of inactivity due to a number of issues. However recently there has been quite a lot of interest in reviving the channel and thanks to an initial offer from Huhy, followed by some great help from Waebi, Buffalo Bill and CanFo, we’ve got the channel up and active again and are making sure to learn from our mistakes. Infact, here’s just how active it is:

  • 398 Players invited
  • 157 Pickups in the last 8 days
  • That’s roughly 22 pickups per day!
  • Multiple occasions where there has been 3 pickups running simultaneously
  • 3.1GB of SourceTV demos
  • 55GB of bandwidth used by TF2 servers alone
