ilike2spin — With two premier division spots up for grabs, it’s looking increasingly likely that there will be a play off coming up over the coming week or so to determine who gets to compete vs the best Europe has to offer. The most likely candidates for this playoff based on recent results and my own completely unbiased opinion are as follows:
Last Man Standing
Medic: wg
Demo: gdk
Soldiers: Ordinator (p) & empty (r)
Scouts: reko & Forsak3n
beach — Tonight, lone ranger from the original BFF lineup kaidus faces off against 4 of his old team mates: Zebbosai, cookye, bybben and Mirelin in broder. It’s the first round of the playoffs!
Pledge — Online leagues always have two very interesting and important moments – the playoffs to see who wins the season, but also the playoffs to determine the last participant in the Premiership. Tonight sees the start of the new ETF2L season by looking at the new teams who have a shot at playing with the big boys in the next eight weeks. While some of these teams just recruited new players, others have been around for a long time. It’s a big mix of talent, teamwork, individual skill, communication and map specific tactics. Either way, tonight’s contestants AVENUE eSports , Pyro|Gen , logs.tf and The Potentials will do everything in their power to secure themselves that precious last spot in the Season 14 Premiership! Read on for the full preview of tonight’s games.
Hildreth — Highlander has been kind of under the radar lately as Season 3 has quietly rolled by, partly thanks to me not caring enough about coverage to promote the 9v9 gamemode. The only thing that matters these days is streaming and having people willing to cast some games, so I urge those who love their Highlander to stand up and be counted….and to message someone from VanillaTV on IRC so we can get some playoff coverage. On the topic of what is happening on these overly complex, long drawn playoff matches to decide the generously donated prize money from Mr X.
Colony v [<3] Less than three
First off tonight, I would like to promote tonight’s Highlander cast between Colony and [<3]. This game is the semi-finals of the “secondary playoffs”; the winner of these playoffs – containing 7 teams from bottom half of the Premiership and top 4 from Division one – will win some cash prizes along with the chance to compete in the top division next season.
This match will be casted tonight at 20 CET live by HeavyisGPS and myself, the cast whisperer Hildreth on his twitch.tv channel, the stream is embedded for you below. Also coming up after the Colony v [<3] will be the UGC European Platinum all-star match featuring the community voted ‘all-stars’ from this season of UGC European Platinum. ETF2L’s Premiership outfit Max-Play highlander team took the crown this season, tune in at 21 CET to see this match on the same twitch channel.
Trell — Tonights cast will decide the ETF2L season 12 (powered by tt eSports) 4th place Premiership spot as TCM Gaming take on Punchline. With the frenchies from Punchline only having won 2 games this season, you’d think the smart money would be on TCM to take this – however, one of the wins they claimed was vs TCM themselves, in a straight 6-0 matchup. The maps for tonight are Granary, Snakewater, and Gullywash as a decider if needed. Snakewater was one of the maps that TCM dropped to Punchline last time around – so tonight is definitely worth tuning in for!
Byte will be looking for nothing less than a win here – I mean, how can he retain the forever third title if he finishes fourth?
Streaming for you tonight on VanillaTV from 21:15 onwards is the undisputed NICE GUY of TF2, boomeh, with expert commentary provided by the dynamic duo of Admirable and djc.
Leftism — The second final of the night will see the surprise of the ESL Playoffs K1ck eSports face off against SG-1 for the title of ESL Premiership champions for season eight. The winner will receiving $500 and six Ulti-Mat Chill Gaming Mice whilst the loser will receive $350 all courtesy of ESL Admin Catman.
Leftism — The ESL Premiership playoffs continue tonight as K1ck eSports, who quite surprisingly won the previous round of the playoff against TCM Gaming, takes on Team Thermaltake in the third round of playoffs.
