Trell — Here it is, ladies and gentlemen, the night you’ve been waiting for.  Tonight at 21:15 CEST, ESEA Lan Champions  Leviathan Gaming face off against ETF2L Champions  Epsilon eSports in our second fundraising showmatch, this time around sponsored by Razer!

Last time around, we managed to raise roughly 2100$ over the course of the night, and we’re looking to raise even more tonight!  With Classic Mixup’s tickets already purchased, we’re working towards the common goal of getting LG across to i46 too.

Slick — So what happened during these 24 hours? With 863 participants, an epic battle took place between 9 players with nerves of steel. Working in pairs, medic with heavy or demo, Thy, Taimou, skillz, Thalash, TviQ, Ceder, Rubikon, Morgan Grimes tried to play it out the whole 24 hours. Where some achieved, some were betrayed by the fatigue, but does not give any less merit to these players who literally put in their hearts to play.

Slick — Great news! TF2 has big stuff coming up this weekend (tommorow to be exact), a public event where the public lovers will be able to play their own little competitive game to win prizes and helping Children that sorely need it. Become soft, donate a couple bucks, and lets be united for this event that I am proud we are taking part of! What is it? Extra Life – a massive annual charity drive organized by the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. This event sees gamers around the world play video games for 24 hours while raising funds for hospitalized children.

Razer with Epsilon want to encourage this charity event by giving out prizes. To qualify for prizes:

-Top 2 TF2 fraggers – join in on any one of the Razer4ExtraLifeCharity servers and own it up as much as you can.
-Top 2 kill-assist medics – we encourage healing as that’s what this charity is all about
-Top 2 donors – donate to Epsilon e-Sports on Team Razer’s Extra Life charity page and notify us of your in-game TF2 nickname

Torden — Today, Epsilon’s own Greg Champagne (otherwise known as Slick) delivered me the news of his team signing a deal with the peripheral supplier, Razer. Deals between MGO and sponsors happen all the time of course, so why should we care? Well, this sees the step of one of a major player into our favourite game, which may prove to be another part of the puzzle to making TF2′s competitive more sustainable with monetary interests. The depth of their path with TF2 is yet to be announced, but from the looks of it, we’re talking about more than just a logo on some epsilonian website.

Dear Razer, if you’re reading this, be an angel and sponsor some tournaments, pretty please. As for the team, they’ll be granted the riches of full gear; mice, mousemats, headsets and keyboards. But hey, I’m not jealous, they’ll have to rip my mac keyboard from my cold dead hands…I’d do with a mousemat though.
