Torden — It’s a dog-eat-dog world out there…now where to start. One of the biggest dogs right now is Infused, who’s secured themselves 2 new recruits, Quad and Flisko. The former was seen pulling something as hilarious special as a quadruple (fitting, yes) overbooking of trials this past Monday, until Infused pulled the longest straw. The latter, recently cut from TCM alongside Pena, as things simply weren’t working out, was ironically what pulled Quad away from TCM and into the infused roster. -Much to the despair of byte’s boys, who is trying to find a new scout to accompany the return of powerduo Haunter and Coinz as soldiers.

Those portoes aren’t the only ones back to old tricks, as members of the former Dignitas have been seen playing steady this week, with upcoming talent Larsa instead of Haza. The new name is “Relic“, and is said to have signed up for ETF2L. As top scouts are removed from the available pool left, right and center, the options for TCM and Tt are getting scarce, however all is not lost as Qun‘s newfound backup position might see him seeking a new team to play badly for on 1 map at lan. Meanwhile, MrMystery claims a return of Broder, but inside sources are adamant they’re still lacking players to take over the world (of div1) just yet.

One thing that is certain, Infused are now confirmed for ETF2L, with Boomeh also moved to backup, which should now ensure all top teams will be collected in (at least) one place this season! That’s the compact version, we haven’t been short on tips this week and 1 of them were from Daleth, who was kind enough to supply us with rosters (edited for known details).

Tagged: epsilon infused sg-1 team thermaltake

Martn — Coming up this evening will be the Bigfoot/Excello TF2 Challenge, this tournament boasts a great line up of participants, with the likes of SG-1,  Epsilon,  Team Thermaltake and  Infused.Tt competing, this will be something you got to watch if you aren’t competing in the tournament itself. The whole tournament will be covered by VanillaTV, with  Byte and  Torden casting.

Next to VanillaTV doing a regular cast, me, myself and I will be following none other than SG-1 around while they play their matches, the downside is, if your not Finnish, you will not likely understand a thing of what’s going on in their comms, because they will be talking Finnish the whole evening! You all will automatically get notified if any of these streams are live, all you have to do is keep checking the side bar.

The program looks like this:

Bracket draw and check-in: 19.30 cest
Round of 32: 20.00 cest
Round of 16: 20.45 cest
Quarter Finals: 21.30 cest

July 5th Interviews
Tagged: Mirelin team thermaltake

Huumba — Howdy, guys.

Team Thermaltake took the grand title this weekend, so I decided it’s the perfect time to have a look at what goes on in the beautiful mind of the myth behind all things and I took a little interview from Mirelin. But firstly, I have a question for you. Why’re you still sitting there and reading this post instead of walking around on the street? Nice weather, warm atmosphere, hot girls and other stuff are waiting for you. You still don’t get it? Aw-w-w, okay, nevermind. If you’re still there, you guys should check this out.

Here’s another one of those interactive posts, where I put things out, and you can fill in the blanks. Let’s rumble!

Infused
As we’ve covered before, the last Infused is no more, while they’re said to make a final appearance together at the upcoming Epic lan. Meanwhile, scouting protégé Greg is at work with a new roster to compete in i43. I had the pleasure of having a chat with him earlier, and he confirmed the following preliminary lineup:

Hat (medic)
Boomeh (soldier)
Ghent (soldier, trialling)
Numlocked (demo)
Greg (scout)
” Viqun (scout)

With Numlocked confirmed, this will surely throw some pebbles into the cogs of Epsilon (see below). Furthermore, Mike (soldier, k1ck) is also rumored to be a candidate, but this is unconfirmed.

ESL’s third week will be wrapped up as of tonight, so why on earth am I writing these predictions today? Welcome to top level TF2, where we only play one game per week. And don’t start throwing i42 at me as an excuse, only one of the teams listed here actually attended. Top players are always complaining that there isn’t enough coverage for TF2, but you’re really not making it easy for us. Get your games scheduled and play them on time.

Update: Infused wins their second iSeries in a row, congratulations!

If you’re just back from a holiday out in the sun like a regular person, you might not be informed of the action going at i42. -So far, the games have been one sided, with both LB and UB finals providing 5-0 results, in the favour of all things Thermaltake. The consolidation finals is going live this moment, which will decide who will get 3rd place and who will go to the grand final.

Considering the matches so far, one could expect Infused to win their way to play Team Thermaltake in a (hopefully) more even match.

Here’s some coverage from the event:

Cadred: Day-1 round up, Final day fixtures.
Us:  Group stage fixtures, lineups and results.
TF2tv: interview series on youtube, match vods on own3d
